On Saturday we went to the zoo! Before that went to Bras Basah to sell my old school books like geog and math and whatevers. But the Bras Basah man rejected me sigh because most of the books are no longer used due to change in syllabus? So out of 20+ books he accepted only 5. Needless to say I was v v v v sad because I thought I was going to be rich.
By the time we got to the zoo it was around 330? And the zoo closes at 6 so we had to like plan and prioritise haha.
Excited!
The map is v deceiving cos it makes the whole place look so Huge and so we decided to take a tour on the tram and then decide where we wanted to stop and explore. But our tram travelled at the speed of a bullet train and we felt cheated because we could hardly see any animals. The map is so not to scale because the distance between the tram stops are really not far at all. ZEBRAAAAAAAAS! I wanted to visit them, and penguins and kangaroos but the tram was so fast and I was sad. There were ostriches and cheetahs(!) and lions too but if I had attempted taking pictures I wouldn't have been able to see them in real life. Yes, the speed of a bullet train. Oh and there was a giraffe enclosure but no giraffes! Rude. We got off at the third stop so I could visit my marine friends.
I want to adopt a penguin and keep him in my fridge. But, these penguins are not cute. I think all the cute fat penguins are at the birdpark. Except this fellow.
I want to bite him. Random animals we visited while waiting for Splash Safari to start haha. Passed by Rainforest Kidzworld which looked so fun but neither of us were kids so we couldn't do much there. I wanted to ride a pony. ): My feather-like weight totally wouldn't have killed it what. Splash safari! Carlos the (extremely smart) seal
Meet the shameless pelican. The commentator(?) never once mentioned pelicans so I suppose the poor guy felt left out so he kept close to Carlos in order to share the limelight. Tumpang glamour nampak.
Carlos is v v v smart. I wasn't blown away but still impressed. He should have a friend though, and perform together. But he's so sweet he would hug and kiss his favourite trainer awww.
More random animals!
Kangaroos are such quiet, peaceful animals. Love them. The only reason this picture is here is because I am forced to put it up. But it is so touristy and I am so fat so it is smaller than the rest.
SO CUTE THEY SLEEP IN A ROW. Last but not least, everyone's favourite animal
Zoo was fun :D But I wanted cuter penguins ): And to see zebras and giraffes and polar bears. But fun nonetheless. - I really want to watch Muallaf. From the director of Sepet, Gubra and Mukshin. Anyone? I promise it's good and worth it. Sadikin seems like someone who would want to watch but he's not back from India. ):
